Volunteer Opportunities with High School Ministry

High School Core Team:

• Assists in weekly Sunday Life nights during the school year.
• Core Team Members help set up, welcome the teens, run small groups, and occassionally give talks or run games/activities (if comfortable)
• Time Commitment: 2 hours on Sunday evenings from 5:45-7:45pm

Sunday Night Subs:
Will be contacted to assist in a Life Night should the need arise. Subs assist in running a small group and other small tasks throughout the night

Confirmation Mentors: 
Confirmation Mentors are paired up and lead a group of 7-10 Confirmandi throughout the year and occasionally give talks (if comfortable). We utilize the Decision Point text in our monthly formation meetings.
        Time Commitment:

• Confirmation Retreat Sunday August 16: 8:30am(for setup)-6:00pm (post Mass) at St. Alphonsus
• Monthly Days of Reflection from 12:30(setup and team meeting) - 3:30(or whenever cleanup is done)

Kitchen Crew:
We feed 100-150 hungry teens and mentors each Sunday during youth ministry and we need several hands for this to run smoothly. We need both periodic help as well as monthly kitchen leads.
   Periodic Help: 

• Sign up to serve when you can throughout the year. The shift is 4:30-7pm

   Kitchen Leads: 

• Captains of the Kitchen! These volunteers will be given a kitchen orientation and lead the crew once a month on the night they sign up for.
