- Sept 14 - 9:30 am or 4pm - PARENT MEETING (mandatory) for all 2nd grade parents whose children are receiving the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion this academic year
- Sept 14 - Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) - during the 10:30 am Mass - our volunteer leader, Lori Mieure, needs helpers!
- Oct 1 - Little Flowers Girls Club - a new ministry for Catholic Girls ages 5 - 10. Click on the link for more info or to register.
All Catechist spots are filled! Praise God! Substitutes for those times that your child's catechist has their own illness or family emergency are welcome. If you are willing to help out if needed, let me know and then complete the training that all adults working with children HAVE TO complete within our diocese. As we prepare the curriculum and classrooms for your children's RE sessions starting Sept 7 & 8, we pray for your Domestic Church! As the primary catechist for your child's faith formation, there is much you can do to help them live the faith and this link can help you get started.
- Our curriculum, Gospel Weeklies, shares the Gospel readings at an age appropriate level in the classrooms each week that RE is in session. Your family will arrive at Mass prepared to hear these same readings! You discussing the Gospel reading as a family on the way to church, after church or somewhere in your day helps engage the whole family with Mass. That's THREE TIMES in one weekend you GET to hear the Word of God!
