I hope this message finds you, your family, and the entire Saint Alphonse community in good health.
The photo (below) shows me in the operating room, suturing the surgical wound following an intervention on the left ankle (bimalleolar fracture), performed by my supervisor, the orthopedic surgeon, whom I was assisting.
I truly value every moment spent in the operating room, for bringing relief, healing, support, and renewed hope and smiles to patients, their families, and loved ones is something that deeply moves me.
I give thanks to God, and I sincerely thank you, the parishes, and my family for all these moments and for the opportunity to pursue my dream: to help those in need, to heal, and to bring comfort.
I completed my orthopedics rotation yesterday and began my community health rotation today.
I wanted to keep you informed of my progress during the internship and express once again my heartfelt gratitude.
