Brief Notes from Fr. Camy

_ According to the latest census, the parish of Croix Fer, with all its chapels, has an estimated population of around 27,500 inhabitants, but with many people fleeing the violence of armed gangs in recent years and arriving in Croix Fer, this number is increasing.

- Since I arrived in the parish of Croix Fer, I have never had access to electricity. Those who have the means install solar systems in their homes, but the vast majority of the population do not have electricity at all.

- On the issue of water, there are families who are lucky enough to get water once or twice a week, while there are families who don't get water at all. Presbytery of Saint Antoine has not had water since I arrived there. Families who don't get water, like Presbytery of Saint Antoine, go to get water from springs to use at home.
